Let us not lose our heads over the recent market volatility

Clients & Friends:

Yes, our hearts and prayers go out to those who have suffered losses in their families as we would with any large-scale loss of life.

Still, I urge all believers to remember that God owns it all (Psalm 24.1); He is in control (1 Chronicles 29.11-12); so let us not be afraid (Isaiah 41.13) regarding recent events.

With the 24-hour news cycle we are flooded with news about the COVID-19 virus, market turmoil, the political primaries, and world economic health.

The flood of information makes it hard to hear the signal from all the noise & static. Please keep in mind that we weathered the SARS virus in 2003 and the Zika virus in 2015 - 2016. Yes, the market suffered significant drops in those tumultuous times but later recovered.

Whether or not “it is different this time“ remains to be seen, but I recommend waiting at least until we have time to evaluate the health of the economy & markets at the end of the first quarter.

Please contact me with any questions or comments, I am here to serve. Take Care and God Bless!
